This handmade, leather-bound book presents a comprehensive research project exploring the intersection of ceramics, 3D printing, and human-machine-material relationships. Created as part of a Master's Program in Communication Design at Media University Berlin, the book features 64 pages of literature analysis and findings, an expert interview, and experimental ceramics work.

The content delves into the evolution of ceramics from ancient craftsmanship to modern parametric design and digital fabrication techniques. Key topics include the role of AI, the implications of authorship in digital design, and the balance between traditional craft and technological innovation. The project also includes an exclusive interview with the founder of Drag and Drop, providing insights into the future of ceramics production.

Bound with repurposed leather, the book incorporates a custom relief design inspired by 3D printed ceramics. The handmade binding, secured with metal rings, creates a tactile and sophisticated object that embodies the project’s exploration of materiality and craftsmanship.

This research contributed to a scientific paper currently under review for publication.
